About GKA Architects

Gregory Ian Korn, AIA - Principal & Founder

Gregory Ian Korn is Principal of GKA Architects. Greg graduated from Cornell University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts, and from Washington University in St Louis in 2002 with a Master of Architecture. He began work in the profession as an intern in high school in 1992, and obtained architectural licensure in 2005.

Greg’s experience spans a range of project types and sizes across the country, and even internationally. He founded GKA in 2009 with a passion for serving end-user small businesses and property owners.

Greg attempts to bring simple, cost effective, and graceful architectural solutions to each project. While much of the design and construction industry has gravitated toward complex and costly solutions, Greg attempts to find the simple solution; As Aristotle noted, "nature operates in the shortest way possible."

He has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2005, is licensed to practice architecture in multiple states, and NCARB certified for reciprocity in all states.
